At the end of the lesson learner should be able to:
1) Apply basic mechanics
2)Apply fluid mechanics
3) Apply thermodynamics
This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to identify electrical
services needs, size the needed residential/commercial electrical installation and
apparatus, install, repair and maintainresidential /commercial electrical devices,
equipment
This module has been designed for IPRC Musanze students pursuing their Advance Diploma in Electrical Technology. It basically covers the properties of static charges(electrostatics), magnetic fields due to uniformly moving charges and steady currents(magnetostatics), time-varying fields and an introduction to physical optics.
Apply the concepts of
drawing, Perform electrical
drawing,Control industrial
electrical machines & Draw the electrical circuit
using CAD
This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to analyze linear circuits
powered by DC or AC sources, AC power and poly-phase circuits. It also describes the
analysis methods and theorems required to accomplish the above tasks. It is designed for
trainees pursuing Diploma in Electrical Technology.
By the end of this module, the trainee will be able to analyze linear electrical circuits by
using adequate electrical network analysis methods and theorems.
