The Module aims to
describe the knowledge, skills and attitude required to repair vehicle fuel
supply system. This module is intended to students pursuing diploma
in automobile technology. At the end of this module, the students will be able
to identify, describe, diagnose, dismantle, disassemble, inspect, Replace, and
reassemble vehicle fuel supply components and test diesel and petrol engines
fuel systems.
This module is designed for students pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering because it describes the essential knowledge and skills needed by every mechanical technician and engineer to prepare the workplace, fit workpieces, perform oxy-acetylene gas welding, and perform arc welding.
General introduction
This module is designed for students pursuing in Advanced Diploma in mechanical engineering because it describes the essential knowledge and skills needed by every mechanical technician and engineers to identify, describe, and maintain vehicle system components.
General introduction
This module is designed for students pursuing in Advanced Diploma in mechanical engineering because it describes the essential knowledge and skills needed by every mechanical technician and engineers to identify engines, maintain cooling system, service lubrication system, service exhaust system, and perform engine overhaul. The Module aims at providing the student with knowledge and understanding of the construction and operating principles of petrol and diesel engines and their systems. It also aims at imparting practical skills to enable student to carryout engine and engine systems diagnosis and repair.
MODULE DESCRIPTION
The Module aims at providing the student with knowledge and understanding of the construction and operating principles of petrol and diesel engines and their systems. It also aims at imparting practical skills to enable student to carryout engine and engine systems diagnosis and repair.
The broad objective of this module of mathematics is based on helping the students to acquire a required background of ordinary differential equations (1st and 2nd order), descriptive statistics and probability with a logical and creative understanding.
Engineering Mechanics is the branch of science
which deals with the behavior of a body when the body is at rest or in motion.
This course is designed to introduce first year students to the fundamental
concept of force systems as well as shape them to practical applications
including the analysis of frames machines trusses and beams. In addition
related concepts such as friction, centre of gravity, centroid and moment of
inertia of different shapes will be taught
Having successfully completed this module, students will be able to read, understand and give the right interpretation of different texts in the field of technology. Students will get opportunities to develop English vocabulary, terms and expressions related to their respective field of technology. They will also be able to express themselves fluently both orally and in writing.
