This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to install energy meters. It is intended for learners who have successfully completed the 9 years’ basic education or its equivalent and pursuing TVET Certificate III in Domestic electricity or other related qualifications. At the end of this module, learners will be able to prepare working area and electrical tools to be used; install analog energy meter; install digital energy meter. Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places such as Home buildings, shops, warehouses, supermarket, hospitals, pharmacies, banks, schools, garage, market, home, churches, and hotels under minimum supervision.

This core module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to design well a solar power plant design. The learner will be able to select and arrange different materials, equipment and tools used when solar power plant design system. He/she will be able to plan and execute solar power plant design system, detect faults and perform their repairing.
