This relates to the unit as a whole providing the range of contexts and conditions to which the performance criteria apply. It allows for different work environments and situations that will affect performance. This unit must be demonstrated in relation to pneumatic/hydraulic power systems as they apply to problems related to engineering diagnosis and development work functions.

This course is for people requiring the knowledge and skills to work or seek employment as a Flux Cored Arc Welder (FCAW) in a metal fabrication or allied engineering industry. The trainees will learn the practical skills and techniques associated with the (FCAW) process theories to join materials in all weld positions.
