Le français intermédiaire dans le monde du travail constitue une étape charnière dans la maîtrise de la langue à des fins professionnelles. À ce niveau, vous disposez déjà des bases nécessaires pour communiquer, mais vous cherchez à développer vos compétences pour évoluer avec plus d'aisance dans un environnement professionnel francophone.

Au niveau intermédiaire, vous pouvez généralement :

  • Participer à des conversations professionnelles sur des sujets familiers
  • Comprendre les points essentiels d'une réunion
  • Rédiger des emails et des documents simples
  • Présenter brièvement des projets ou des idées

L'objectif à ce stade est d'améliorer votre vocabulaire spécifique à votre secteur d'activité, d'affiner votre maîtrise des subtilités grammaticales et de développer votre fluidité à l'oral comme à l'écrit. Cela vous permettra de gagner en confiance et en efficacité dans vos interactions professionnelles.

Le passage du niveau débutant à intermédiaire représente un tournant important : vous commencez à utiliser le français comme un véritable outil de travail et non plus seulement comme une compétence annexe. C'est aussi le moment où vous pouvez commencer à adapter votre français aux spécificités de votre métier.

This course is designed for students of year three in IPRCs. These students are supposed to have a basic and pre-advanced knowledge of English. Its principal goal is to help them develop academic productive skills in order to profoundly reinforce their prior language skills. This course is aimed to improve students’ spoken, written and presentation skills in English in order to help them in their written assignments and presentations, and later in their occupations.

 Specifically, this module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to communicate effectively in the workplace. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET Advanced diploma in all departments and options. In fact, the trainee will be able to write trade-related texts including essays and professional documents, to describe events, to deliver appropriately impromptu speeches and perform professional interviews. The trainee will be able to read, listen and summarise effectively. Once this module is well delivered the trainee will be equipped with the necessary skills to communicate in English in the workplace.
