Irrigation and Drainage Technology

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to manage irrigation and drainage water. It is intended for learners pursuing Bachelor of technology in Irrigation and Drainage. At the end of this module, the students will be able to assess water potential for irrigation, monitor irrigation and drainage performance, integrate socioeconomic aspects in Irrigation and Drainage and treat drainage water. Qualified student deemed competent to this competency, may work with others in support of current professional practice in small- and large-scale irrigation and drainage schemes.
