This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to Determine soil suitability for agriculture practices. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma of irrigation and drainage technology. At the end of this module the students will be able to identify soil formation mechanism, perform soil analysis and identify soil properties. Qualified student deemed competent to this competency, may work with others in support of current professional practice in marshland, hillside, small scale irrigation, garden, greenhouses under guidance.
This module aims at equipping the learner with skills, knowledge and attitudes
required to apply engineering ethics that facilitate effective learning at the workplace.
After completion of this module, learner will be able to describe ethics concept, apply
engineering ethics and apply professional policy, laws and regulations as well.
