    Purpose statement 

     This generic module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to a learner to principle of building economics. This module is intended to students pursuing diploma in quantity surveying. At the end of this module students will be able to identify and differentiate all terms used in building economic ,planning and budgeting for building constructions , dealing with building projects, calculate the profit .
