This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to determine hydraulic parameters for irrigation system. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma of irrigation and drainage technology.
At the end of this module the students will be able
1. To confirm water delivery specifications for irrigation system, determine pressures required
2. To deliver required amount of water over specified area and select system components
3.To deliver water efficiently. Qualified student deemed competent to this competency,may work with others in support of current professional practice in marshland, hillside,small scale irrigation, garden, greenhouses under guidance
