  • ´Tourism has been identified as a priority sector to achieve Rwanda’s development goals as set out in Vision 2020.RDB report,2017,indicated that  Revenues from tourism amounted to $438 million in 2017, constituting almost 50% of all service exports.94,000 tourists visited Rwanda’s national parks generating $18.7 million. With the application of previous tourism policies, the country has been able to make significant progress in developing and managing its tourism sector in recent years. Preparing youth especially in tourism policies and plans is essential for keeping the right movement. Until today,2009 tourism policy released by MINICOM is still in use, however students learning Wildlife Tourism needs critical skills on ways of establishing policies and plans that promote sustainable tourism  as well as sustainable development.  .
