The course aims to provide the basics of metal Forming and Joining. It covers how to form metals in different shapes and how to join metals. It also covers basics metal forming processes and press tool operations. It deals with the production processes for producing desired shape of a product.
Numerical control( NC) and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining is the process through which computers control machine-based processes in manufacturing. The kinds of machines controlled include lathes, mills, routers and grinders – all used for manufacturing of metal and other materials(Plastics & Wood).
