Course image PNEUMATIC AND HYDRAULIC AUTOMATION CONTROL
Electronics and Telecommunications Technology

The pneumatic and hydraulic automation control systems are those which use compressed air or oils to transmit mechanical power or motion. The pneumatic systems uses which use compressed air while hydraulic systems use compressed oil. those systems are called electro-pneumatic or electro-hydraulic when their control is performed using electrial energy.These systems are commonly used in industustrial automation to control differents production processes, different machinery and in automobiles.

This workshop will provide different practical experiments for pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic systems.

Course image Practice component of TV and Multimedia Technology
Electronics and Telecommunications Technology

Television (TV), sometimes shortened to tele or telly, is a telecommunication medium used for transmitting moving images in monochrome (black and white), or in color, and in two or three dimensions and sound. The term can refer to a television set, a television program ("TV show"), or the medium of television transmission. Television is a mass medium for advertising, entertainment and news.

After the lab session or practice session with the trainees, they will understand:

  1.  The principles operation of TV Transmitters and Receivers;
  2.  The Principles operation of TV display tubes, flat screen, LCD, LED and also different color television standards NTSC, PAL and SECAM;
  3.  The TV receiver troubleshooting and repairing.

In multimedia we are going to have practices on:

  1. Video camera work;
  2.  Multimedia authoring tools.

I am welcoming you all Level Two Students in Electronics and Telecommunication department to work together in this platform with sharing on different practice related to this module.

Course image Practice of Antenna and Wave propagation
Electronics and Telecommunications Technology

Upon completion of the subject the student will be able to understand the overall system operation of antenna systems and wave propagation.

And as this part concern specifically on practical component, we are going;

  1. To study radiation from a current element

  2.  To enable the study of the various types of antennas and wave propagation.

  3.  To understand the principles of antenna arrays

  4.  To understand the theory of aperture antennas

  5.  To learn special antennas such as frequency independent and broad band antennas

  6.  To study radio wave propagation mechanisms

As this part concern practice, we are going to have different materials helping us to understand those principles.
