This module provides the basic functions of network equipment and mechanism of network protocol (TCP/IP). It provides LAN Design, Basic Switch Concepts and Configuration, VLANs, VTP, STP, Inter-VLAN Routing and Basic Wireless Concepts and Configuration. It finally gives Introduction to WANs, PPP, Frame-relay, Network Security, ACLs, Teleworker Services, Implementing IP Addressing Services and Network Troubleshooting.

The goal of the course is to provide an introduction to the concepts and methodology of Object-Oriented Programming and further develop skills such as program design and testing as well as the implementation of programs using a basic development environment. All programming will be done in Java.

This module provides the knowledge skills on installing the Oracle Database 12C Enterprise Edition Software, creating a new database, configure the database for an application, employ basic monitoring procedures, configuring the listener to establish connection between an oracle client computer and an oracle server and implement a backup and recovery strategy as well as moving data between database and files for the oracle database administration purposes.
