This module describes the skills and knowledge required to conduct an application of air quality monitoring technologies, application of air quality control measures, and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation measures. As past and ongoing greenhouse gas emissions take their inevitable toll on the climate, adaptation, which refers to finding and implementing sound ways of adjusting to the adverse effects of climate change, is becoming an urgent priority along with mitigation of climate change.  While mitigation actions are already being implemented, work on adaptation has primarily focused on establishing important adaptation principles.

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform data collection
using GPS, manipulate geographic interface required to produce thematic map in ArcGIS,
explore ArcMap and Arc Catalogue, select the appropriate shapefiles, add layers of required
data, categorize the optical sensors, digitilize in ArcMap and describe the process of RS. This
module is intended to students pursuing advanced diploma in Nature Conservation.

This module aims to equip learners with skills; knowledge and attitudes on how to perform wildlife field survival techniques. It will provide practices in manipulating field equipment /tools, in wildlife communication and in conducting first aid activities in case of wildlife works, emergency and exposure. The module will also describe how to navigate in wildlife domain by locating different areas, setting campsites and conducting basic safety and health support to a patient in wildlife area.

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to apply basics of environmental chemistry that facilitate effective learning at the work place. After completion of this module, learner will be able to apply inorganic chemistry to environment, apply organic chemistry to environment and study air, water and acid rain
pollutant as well.

With an increase in population and industrial activities, a significant amount of waste is generated. The manner this waste is disposed of in the environment determines how it impacts ecosystems as well as the health of human populations. This module is intended for students pursuing a TVET diploma in Nature Conservation. It describes the skills and knowledge required to apply proper technologies in managing solid waste, wastewater, and hazardous waste for sustainable development. 

This module equips students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required for effective workplace communication. It focuses on strengthening communicative grammar, developing listening and speaking abilities for social and professional contexts, and enhancing reading skills for work-related texts. Upon completion, students will be able to communicate confidently and appropriately in English across workplace settings

This course equips students with essential advanced computer skills to enhance academic, professional, and personal productivity. It covers both hardware and software concepts, enabling learners to understand computer systems and apply them effectively. Students will gain hands-on experience in word processing for professional document creation, spreadsheets for data management and analysis, and presentation tools for designing interactive and engaging PowerPoint slides.
