The Management of Leisure and Recreation Operations Module is designed to enable B-Tech tourism management students to acquire and develop skills that will enable them to manage leisure and recreation activities and centers. The module will broaden students’ perspectives on leisure and recreation activities and offer them opportunities to participate in managing a range of physical activities.
The module will also allow students to be able to design leisure and recreation sites and coordinate L&R sites development. The module enables students to coordinate L&R marketing activities. Students will also learn to develop and manage safety and security procedures and guidelines for leisure and recreation activities.

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to manage Tour and travel Company Operations. Emphasis is on planning for the tour and travel company, coordinating tour and travel company operations, evaluating tour and travel company performance and managing company resources.

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to plan an events management company, create an event, bid for events, and execute an event. After acquiring these knowledge and skills, a student will be able to effectively manage events company.
