CNC operations course in wood technology focuses on teaching the use of CNC machinery for precision woodworking, covering areas like CNC machine types (routers, mills, lathes), programming basics using G-code, and working with CAD/CAM software. It includes safety protocols, material preparation, machine setup, and advanced techniques such as 3D carving, engraving, and multi-axis machining. Students learn to configure CNC machines, select appropriate tools, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality finishes. Practical projects emphasize hands-on experience in designing and producing wood products, with a focus on sustainable practices, automation, and emerging technologies in woodworking.
