Building legislation and compliance module describes the skills and knowledge required to interpret construction guidelines, codes, laws and standards relevant to construction project. The competencies acquired in this module will equip learners with ability to analyse construction project related problems and challenges and apply relevant solutions in compliance with the construction guidelines, laws, policies.

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to analyze, operate and protect the automated electrical power system. It is intended for the students pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Electrical technology.

This course, Maintain Engine, gives some of the theoretical knowledge required to maintain and repair engine systems of motor vehicles. 

The course is for students who do a diploma course in automobile technology, level 6. 

At the end of this course, you will be able to identify and describe engine system components, describe the steps to maintain a cooling system, service the lubrication system and service the exhaust system.

Purpose statement

This module aims at equipping learner with skills and knowledge required to provide inclusive training in the workplace. It will facilitate the learner to use inclusive training and learning approaches in delivering sessions, contribute to gender mainstreaming, apply the techniques used to prevent Gender Based Violence (GBV). Indeed, this module will enable the learner to contribute to people with disability (ies) (PWD) mainstreaming, prevent HIV/ AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Also, the learner will be able to raise awareness on Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection, non- communicable diseases prevention and finally overcome obstacles to effective learning in TVET schools.

At the end of this module, the learner will be able to promote inclusive training in TVET schools.
