This module describes the knowledge, skill and attitude required to conduct heavy
vehicle brakes, steering, suspension and wheel repair. It is intended for trainees
pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Automotive Technology At the end of the module,
the trainees will be able to assume responsibility of planning, scheduling, supervising
and conducting maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles chassis and preparing
technical specifications. The candidate will be able to assess the associated safety risks and
take measures to eliminate or control and minimize the risk with managerial skills.
This module describes the skills and knowledge required to manage own performance and professional development. Particular emphasis is on establishing personal work goals, setting and meeting priorities, analysis information and using a range of strategies to develop further competences to meet the trending and innovative market demands.
This module, intended for trainees pursuing Bachelor of Automotive Technology, describes skills, knowledge and right attitude required to manage a gagare or an automotive related business, manage staff and services, manage parts and stock, perform business taks, operate and manage a fleet assets.
At the end of this module, trainees will be able to undertake general management, operational and financial management, quality control and workplace safety, administrative, personnel and professional development duties.Building

Purpose statement
This module describes the skills, knowledge and right attitudes required to design
vehicle systems including body structure, engine, transmission and driveline. This
module is intended for trainees pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Automotive
Technology. At the end of this module, the learner will be able to design vehicle
body structure, vehicle safety systems, vehicle engine, vehicle transmission and
driveline. He/she will be able to independently exercise some initiatives in carrying
out defined activities with managerial skills.
This module is introduced to help learners to identify real-world problems related to construction industry and provide a tangible solution that can be implemented in Rwanda society. The module requires different intellectual activities where leaners start from theoretical plans and analysis of the existing problem, elaborate required strategies for project development, and provide in-depth analysis for the intended outcomes. At the end of the module, a final product will be presented and disseminated to the public for the implementation.
This
module describes the knowledge, skill and attitude required to carry out the
repair of a heavy vehicle power train. At the end of this module, students will
be able to prepare the workplace beforehand, to select pertinent tools,
materials and equipment, to identify system components to be repaired, to
repair and replace damaged parts for heavy vehicle powertrain.

Building legislation and compliance module describes the skills and knowledge
required to interpret construction guidelines, codes, laws and standards relevant to
construction project. The competencies acquired in this module will equip learners
with ability to analyse construction project related problems and challenges and apply
relevant solutions in compliance with the construction guidelines, laws, policies,
codes and standards requirement.
