This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to manage a team. Upon completion of this module, the trainee will be able to apply professional communication skills including describing clearly the basics of communication, delivering effectively a speech, performing properly interview and writing properly business letters, reports and memos. Furthermore, the trainee will be able to apply team leading skills including managing effectively employees, resolving appropriately workplace problems and giving effectively instructions and feedback. Finally, the trainee will be able to manage meeting by acquiring the skills in preparing, conducting, debriefing and following up a meeting.
This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to apply ecology principles. It is intended for learners who are pursuing TVET Diploma (REQF, level VI) in Horticulture related qualifications. At the end of this module, learners will be able to describe ecosystem components, assess the effects of ecological factors on plants and conserve the ecosystem.
This module aims at equipping the learner with skills, knowledge and attitudes required to apply Basic Chemistry that facilitate effective learning at the workplace. After completion of this module, learner will be able to operate chemical reactions for inorganic compounds, apply reactions of hydrocarbons and its derivatives and apply basic analytical chemistry as well.
