This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to use the Global Distribution System effectively. At the end of the module, the students should be able to use the computerized reservation system to make complete reservations in the Global Distribution System (GDS) as per the industry standards. The trainee should be able to successfully quote airfares, create and modify the elements of a Passenger Name Record (PNR) in order to issue air tickets.
This module describes the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to manage a team. Upon completion of this module, the trainee will be able to apply professional communication skills, including clearly describing the basics of communication, effectively delivering a speech, performing a proper interview, and writing proper business letters, reports, and memos. Furthermore, the trainee will be able to apply team-leading skills, including effectively managing employees’ cultural diversity, resolving workplace problems, and giving instructions and feedback.
