Mushroom Production

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to produce
mushrooms. This module is intended for students pursuingthe  TVET Diploma in Horticulture.
At the end of this module, learners will be able to prepare a mushroom mound, plant
mushroom, manage pests and diseases and carry out mushroom harvesting and postharvest
handling operations. Qualified learners deemed competent in this competency
may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places, such as mushroom
production farm, horticultural research centre, greenhouse under minimum supervision.
