This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to
apply crop pests’ management technologies in crop production. It is intended for learners pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Crop Production (RQF, level 8). At the end of this module, Learners will be
able to apply knowledge of crop pests’ management in crop protection, demonstrate laboratory analysis skills in crop protection and apply knowledge of phytopharmacy and phytiatry in crop
production. Qualified Learner deemed competent to this competency
work alone or with others on routine tasks of crop protection in
various places such as private farmers, agricultural research
institutions, farmer’s cooperatives, and companies.
