This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to install micro water
harvesting structure. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma of irrigation and
drainage technology. At the end of this module the students will be able to install water
harvesting structures, install Surface irrigation and install pressurized irrigation. Qualified
student deemed competent to this competency, may work with others in support of
current professional practice in rain water harvesting, in situ rain water harvesting and
ground water harvesting related activities under guidance.
