This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to design surface irrigation system. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma of irrigation and drainage technology. At the end of this module the students will be able to Inspect the site for irrigation project, collect and analyze the data and complete the design. Qualified student deemed competent to this competency, may work with others in support of current professional practice in marshland, hillside, small scale irrigation, garden, greenhouses under guidance.
