In today’s data-driven agricultural sector, the ability to conduct sound research is a critical skill for professionals in crop production and irrigation and drainage. This module empowers B-Tech students with practical research competencies needed to identify field-based problems, evaluate technologies, and make evidence-based decisions. Whether improving crop yields, managing water resources, or addressing climate and soil challenges, the knowledge gained in this course will enable students to design, analyze, and communicate research that directly informs real-world agricultural practice and innovation.
This module is designed to provide undergraduate students with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for conducting effective research. It comprehensively addresses the entire research process, from problem formulation through data collection, analysis and writing an academic report, laying a solid foundation for their independent research projects.
