Purpose statement
This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to maintain
machine, hydraulic system, fuel system, pneumatic system, lubrication system,
industrial control system other utility systems and their components. This module is
intended to trainees pursuing manufacturing technology in Manufacturing and Mining
diploma. At the end of this module, the trainees will be able to assembly and
disassembly hydraulic system components, pneumatic system, fuel system, pneumatic
system, lubrication system, industrial control system, other utility system and their
components, perform inspection, test, troubleshooting and maintenance under
minimum supervision. He or she will have the ability to exercise some initiatives and
independence in carrying out defined activities at a professional level.
