This course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to install, maintain, and test water supply systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial buildings. It covers the principles of water distribution, pipework materials, fittings, and installation techniques in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Participants will learn how to interpret drawings and specifications, select appropriate tools and materials, and carry out pipe cutting, jointing, and fixing for hot and cold water systems. The course also emphasizes health and safety practices, water conservation, pressure testing, leak detection, and basic troubleshooting of common system faults.
