This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitude required to perform crop production
practices. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma (REQF level VI) in Crop Production
or other related qualifications. At the end of this module, learners will be able to prepare for
crop production, organize planting activities for crop production and carry out post planting
operation for crop production. Qualified learners are deemed competent to this competency
may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places dealing with crop production
such as private farmers, agricultural research institutions, farmers’ cooperatives.
