This module equips the students with an in-depth understanding of Fashion Illustration and develops their competency in performing various types of illustration of fashion from high street to formal. It enables them to illustrate various parts of the body from the head to the toe, illustrate different poses for both the male and the female croquis and also render the croquis according to the pose and source of light. Apart from that, this module also imparts knowledge on dressing of the croquis in any mode of fashion and also the rendering of the clothes according to the pose and fabric used. In addition, the module equips the learner with knowledge on how to illustrate textures of fabrics used to on the illustrated fashion also well as drape where necessary. As if it’s not enough, this module imparts knowledge on technical drawing of the illustrated fashion and the labelling of different style features on the garments to avoid misrepresentation o f information. Lastly, this module enables the learner to create and present a clear presentation of a technical drawing sheet layout in accordance with garment production requirements.
