This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to monitor and evaluate irrigation and drainage system. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma of irrigation and drainage technology. At the end of this module the students will be able to assess irrigation and drainage systems, regulate flow, monitor irrigation and drainage systems, record and report system performance status. Qualified student deemed
competent to this competency, may work with others in support of current professional practice in marshland, hillside, small scale irrigation, garden, greenhouses under guidance.
