This module provides learners with the comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and professional attitudes required for the erection and installation of power system equipment, including generating units, transformers, and reactors. It equips trainees with the ability to carry out preliminary installation activities, execute the proper erection of power system components, and perform wiring and cabling in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations.
By the end of this module, learners enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Technology will be able to interpret installation drawings, prepare and inspect installation sites, assemble and install major power system equipment, and complete associated wiring, grounding, and cabling tasks to a professional and operationally reliable standard.
