This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to manage crop pests and diseases.
It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma (REQF, level 6) in. At the end of this module, students will be able to prepare for pests and diseases management, monitor pests and diseases in crops, and apply pest and disease management measures. Qualified students deemed competent to this competency work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places dealing with crop pests and diseases management such as private farmers, agricultural research institutions, farmers cooperatives, and companies.
