Welcome to the Human Anatomy and Physiology module. I am delighted to have you in this 
class and look forward to an engaging, interactive, and informative semester with you. 
This module is designed to provide you with a strong foundation in the structure and function of 
the human body, with particular emphasis on systems most relevant to biomedical equipment 
applications. A clear understanding of these concepts is essential for your future professional 
practice in the biomedical field. 
Lecture Schedule: 
Lectures will be held every Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday 8:30 to noon via the 
eLearning Platform. 
Module Content Includes: 
• Overview of major body systems (circulatory, respiratory, nervous, etc.) 
• Cellular and tissue structure 
• Integration of physiology with biomedical equipment function 
• Clinical relevance and application to medical devices 
Course Materials: 
All lecture notes, reference materials, and important announcements will be posted on the 
eLearning Platform. Please check the platform regularly for updates and additional resources. 
Assessment Details: 
Assessment methods will include assignments, quizzes, and class participation. Detailed 
guidelines, deadlines, and marking criteria will be provided during lectures.
