This module provides students pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics with the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes to design and develop complete embedded system products, covering both hardware and software aspects. Students will learn to analyse requirements, interface microcontrollers with real-world devices, develop embedded software, and integrate hardware and software components into fully functional systems. The module emphasises applying industry-standard design processes, testing, and ensuring reliability, preparing students for careers in automation, robotics, IoT, and industrial control systems.
