This module describes the skills and knowledge required for fundamentals of
electronics. At the end of this module a trainee will be able to apply passive device,
active device and linear ICs and amplifiers. The module ETTFE601: Apply Fundamentals of Electronics introduces first-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) students to the essential concepts and principles of electronics. It covers the basics of electronic components, circuit analysis, and semiconductor devices, enabling students to understand and design simple electronic circuits. The course also emphasizes practical applications, including the study of diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers, to build foundational skills in electronics. By the end of the module, students will be equipped with the knowledge to analyze electronic systems and prepare for more advanced courses in the EEE curriculum.
