This module describes the skills, knowledge and right attitudes required to cut metals mechanically,
perform oxyacetylene gas and plasma cutting. This module is intended to trainees pursuing diploma in
manufacturing technology. At the end of this module, the trainees will be able to cut metals having various
sections using different cutting processes. They will be able to independently exercise some initiative in
carrying out defined activities at professional level.
