This module is specifically designed for students pursuing Advanced diploma in Construction Technology. It aims to equip them with the essential skills, knowledge, and professional attitudes required to effectively use AutoCAD software in the construction industry. The module introduces students to the AutoCAD working environment, including setting up drawing spaces, using drafting and editing tools, applying dimensions and annotations, and managing layers and layouts. Throughout the course, students will develop practical competencies in creating accurate technical drawings used in construction projects. In addition, the module emphasizes precision, creativity, and professional drawing standards that are necessary in modern engineering practice. By the end of the module, students will be able to confidently navigate the AutoCAD workspace, apply various AutoCAD features and commands, and produce clear, organized, and professional engineering drawings suitable for construction documentation and presentation purposes in real-world projects.
