UNDERGROUND MINE DEVELOPMENT

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform 
underground mine development. This module is intended to students pursuing diploma 
in Mining Technology TVET level VI.  At the end of this module, the students will be able 
to Identify tools, material and equipment for underground mine development,develop 
a tunnel/horizontal development,Develop a shaft/vertical development, Install mine 
fittings, Develop railway lines,Prepare Mining operation technical reports and 
maintenance under minimum supervision.
