This module describes the skills, attitude and knowledge about the different types of measuring instruments used in manufacturing technology. This module is intended to trainees pursuing diploma in manufacturing technology. This module will draw trainees' attention to the exact measurements on each instrument and the units of measurement displayed. At the end of this module, the trainees will know to properly handle measuring instruments during use. They will also know measuring instruments storage in an appropriate environment. They will obtain skills about measuring instruments calibration standard. The trainees will be able to standardize a range of processes and formulas to advance the manufacturing technology. The trainees will have the abilities to exercise some initiatives and independence in carrying out defined activities at professional level.
