Determination of Hydraulic Parameters for Irrigation System (IDTHP601) is a course offered to First year students in TVET Diploma in Irrigation and Drainage Technology, Department of Agricultural Engineering at Rwanda Polytechnic RP-Gishari College. The purpose statement of this module is to describe the skills, knowledge and attitude required to determine of hydraulic parameters for irrigation system.
At the end of this module, the students will be able to:
1. Confirm water delivery specifications for irrigation system
2. Determine pressures required to deliver required amount of water over specified area
3. Select system components to deliver water efficiently
