This module describes the skills, knowledge and right attitudes required to install and
maintain pipelines. This module is intended to trainees pursuing diploma in manufacturing
technology. At the end of this module, the trainees will be able to analyze pipe drawing,
identify metal pipes, perform metal cutting, perform thread cutting, bend metal pipe, join
metal pipes by fittings, weld metal pipes and check joints defects. They will be able to
independently exercise some initiative in carrying out defined activities at professional level.
