This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to analyse a horticulture value chain. It is intended to students pursuing TVET Advanced Diploma in Horticulture. At the end of this module, learners will be able to map a horticultural value chain, perfor the economic analysis of value chain and determine value chain upgrading strategies. Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places such agricultural consultancy bureau, research institutions, large production farms, agricultural business entities under minimum.
