This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to assist post-harvest handling activities. This module is intended to students pursuing TVET diploma in Horticulture. At the end of this module, learners will be able to organize harvesting and post-harvest activities, handle horticultural produce at field and packhouse and direct horticulture produce storage, packing and transport operations. Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places such as horticulture production farm, horticultural research centre under minimum supervision.
