This module will provide learners with knowledge and practical skills required to safely maintain, inspect, diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicles. It will also cover hybrid and EV systems, high-voltage batteries, electric motors, inverters, DC-DC converters, charging systems, regenerative braking, diagnostic procedures and high-voltage safety. Learners will develop competencies in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and servicing of hybrid and electric vehicle systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety requirements.
