Catchment Management Techniques equips trainees with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to effectively manage catchment and watershed resources. The module enables trainees to analyze water balance and hydrological cycle processes, collect and interpret hydrological data across spatial and temporal scales, and distinguish different types of watersheds based on their characteristics. Trainees will also develop competence in identifying, selecting, and applying appropriate watershed management techniques, integrating sustainable catchment management practices, and implementing water harvesting and water conservation measures to support the protection and sustainable use of water resources.
