This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to apply basic Textile chemistry that will enable students to understand how the fabric is formed from polymers, how dyes interact with the fabric. At the end of this module, trainees will be able to understand fabric properties based on polymer structure, dyes, and the interaction between dyes and fabric. Furthermore, students will be able to relate the structure-property relationship of dyes and polymers.
