This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to apply signal processing techniques. At the end of this module, students will be able to understand fundamental concepts signals and mathematical tools/techniques used to model and analyze signals such as Convolution operation, Differential equations, Difference equations, Laplace transform, z-transform, Fourier analysis and digital filtering emphasizing on the use of software MATLAB to implement, modify, analyze and synthesize real - time processing algorithms with practical experimentation.
