This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to manage a greenhouse. It is intended for learners who are pursuing TVET diploma (REQF, level VI) in Crop production.
At the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Assist in the design and greenhouse establishment,
- Organize crop cultivation in greenhouse and
- Control greenhouse environment conditions.
Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks in various places using greenhouse in production, research and extension services such as farms, research institutions, greenhouse sellers, agricultural cooperatives under minimum supervision.
