Purpose statement
This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform mineral
sampling operation. This module is intended to students pursuing diploma in Mining
Technology TVET level VI. This module is intended to students pursuing diploma in
Mining Technology. At the end of this module, the students will be able to prepare the
sampling site, Identify the sampling techniques according to the materials, perform
sample collection, Prepare Mining operation technical reports and maintenance under
minimum supervision.
