This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for social, economic and ecological aspects leading to sustainable forest landscape management. It focuses on effective planning,
implementation and monitoring of FLR operation while fostering the engagement of stakeholders. The module takes students through a system thinking approach that targets social and ecological outcomes. Various skills such as the use of Remote Sensing and GIS technologies are leveraged for a better description of forest
landscapes and various international planning and monitoring tools are harnessed for successful FLR implementation.
